Executive Chef Herve Glin shines in star-studded foodie event

GA WEST Executive Chef
Herve Glin was among the
culinary stars who participated
in the Citi Taste of Tennis held
at the Hyatt Regency Indian Wells
Resort & Spa on March 6. The event,
which brings together renowned chefs,
tennis players, and food enthusiasts,
aims to showcase the intersection
between tennis and fine cuisine.
Glin has been involved with the event
for four years and was impressed by the
Citi Taste of Tennis events held around
the United States. His participation this
year consisted of presenting delicious
hors d'oeuvres for guests to enjoy.
The first item on Glin's menu was Mini
Comte Cheese Raviolis with Truffle
Chimichurri and Shredded Duck Confit,
followed by a Hydro Watercress Salad
with Shaved Fennel and Anjou pear
with Hibiscus Vinaigrette. The dishes
were well received by guests and were a
testament to Glin's culinary expertise.
When asked what makes the Citi Taste
of Tennis event unique and special for
both chefs and guests, Glin said it
provides a platform for exposure to a
world-class clientele that is looking for
restaurants during their stay in the
Coachella Valley. "Also, chefs have the
opportunity to meet influencers and
media from around the United States,
creating an unforgettable experience for
everyone involved," Glin said.
Glin said the one take away he hopes
guests get out of the Citi Taste of Tennis
is that they enjoy the wine, food, and
great ambiance in a unique place, and
"go back home with a positive feeling
about the Coachella Valley."
