WHAT' S NEW T itleist rolled out its newest generations of the Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls in January, and they shine with the latest technology. The 2023 versions are designed with the aim of providing golfers with increased distance, more consistent flight, and better control over their shots. Engineered with gradient core designs borrowed from Titleist's Custom Performance Options, the cores are firmest on the outside and soften toward the interior to create faster, lower-spinning long shots while also promoting drop-and-stop shots on the green. Also enhanced are the high-flex casing layer and the soft cast thermoset urethane cover that link with the core to provide optimum performance. As in the past, the spherically tiled tetrahedra dimple design on the Pro V1x yields a slightly higher launch and higher flight than the Pro V1. As for their benefits, the Pro V1 offers the best combination of distance, spin and feel as well as a penetrating ball flight, while the Pro V1x is made to fly higher and spin more with short irons, and to provide low spin on longer shots for more distance. ................................................................................... > CLICK HERE to shop for Titleist Pro V.
