Callaway unveils all-new models from iconic line
T
he classic Great Big Bertha line from Callaway is back
– but its new drivers, fairway woods, hybrids and irons
haven't piggybacked off anything except a legendary
name. They've been built from the ground up and are in-
tended to serve the ultra-premium
category for players with moder-
ate swing speeds.
As always, however, enhanced
technology paves the way to ad-
vanced performance.
In the Driver category, an ultra-
lightweight design helps boost swing
speed. To increase the MOI, Callaway paired a Tri-
axial Carbon Crown with a Forged Carbon Sole.
That enabled the engineers to move the CG lower
to bump up forgiveness. That same Carbon combo
works in the Great Big Bertha fairway woods, which
also benefit from a titanium face and body, features
normally reserved for drivers. The hybrids utilize the industry-
leading, A.I.-designed titanium face cup and Jailbreak with
Batwing Technology, which boosts speed across the face.
The Great Big Bertha irons employ driver-like, highest-
grade titanium for the face and body with a Tungsten Speed
Cartridge, which work seamlessly to increase speed, launch
angle and forgiveness.
