W
hen Rory McIlroy tapped in
for par to edge Scottie Schef-
fler and Sungjae Im at the 2022
Tour Championship, I was re-
minded of a call made by legendary broadcaster
Vin Scully: "In a year that has been so improba-
ble, the impossible has happened." Indeed, in a
PGA Tour season that was unprecedented for a
variety of reasons, we were nevertheless kept
enthralled by historic performances. It was
Scheffler's maiden PGA Tour victory at the WM
Phoenix Open. It was Tiger Woods' bravery on
display at the Masters and again at the Open
Championship. It was Tony Finau finally finding
his mojo to score back-to-back summertime tri-
umphs. So many memorable moments! Here are
a few of my favorites from an unforgettable year.
