LET'S COMPETE!
Get ready for the Troon
Challenge qualifier coming
to Classic Club this summer
A
ny reason is a good
reason to tee it up at
Classic Club. A great
reason to put the peg in the
ground is to participate in the
Troon Challenge.
Celebrating its 20th edition, the
Troon Challenge is the manage-
ment company's largest amateur-
only tournament, attracting more
than 1,600 golfers annually to
compete at regional qualifying
events held throughout the year at
Troon courses across the country.
The regional qualifying events
culminate in the National Finals,
to be held December 9-11, 2022, at
Indian Wells Golf Resort.
To qualify for the finals, you
first need to win a regional event.
Classic Club will host its quali-
fier on Sunday, June 12. Cost is
$250 per two-person team, or $230
per team for Troon Cardholders.
The qualifier fee comes with a
$20 F&B voucher for each person.
Tee times begin at 9:30 am.
"With the national finals at
Troon-managed Indian Wells Golf
Resort, this is a great opportunity
for teams in the area to participate
in the event at Classic Club for a
chance to qualify for the ultimate
event at a nearby course," says
Classic Club Tournament Coordi-
nator Joe Fritz.
The event format is a two-
person modified best ball
(shamble) and there will be a
Gross and Net Division at each
regional qualifier.
