GREEN FEE GUARANTEE Players Card program offers the best rates at Rancho Del Sol I f you want to make sure you get the best rates at Rancho Del Sol Golf Club, you need to ring in the new year with the 2022 Players Card. Golfers who participate in the loyalty program are guaranteed to "always have the lowest price," said Mark Stevens, CEO of CSC Golf Management, which manages the golf course. Even the best rates found on the internet by third-party tee time providers are offered to Rancho Del Sol's Players Card holders for at least $1 less. The card also offers a sweet list of additional benefits, including a complimentary round anytime and one during the month of the member's birthday. In addition, cardholders receive 14-day advance booking, and discounts in the golf shop and Cantina. For those who like to tee it up Monday-Friday, there is a weekday card available for $89, and the full seven-day card is available for $129. Both cards are valid through December 23, 2022. ................................................................ > CALL the golf shop at (951) 455-4545 to learn more about the Players Card. K ick up your heels, everybody! Not only does Rancho Del Sol feature a new pro caliber Disc Golf course designed by former World Champion Avery Jenkins, but the prop- erty is also planning to add FootGolf in the spring of 2022. Disc Golf, which has been extremely popular at Rancho Del Sol since its debut over the old Lake nine early in 2021, calls for flinging Frisbee-like plas- tic discs down the fairway toward a wire basket target, with rules similar to traditional golf. Enthusiasts have praised Rancho Del Sol's Disc Golf Course as "long," "hilly," and "hand- some," and rank it among the best in the region. FootGolf, one of the fastest-growing sports in the world, combines the pre- cision of golf with the energy of soccer. The concept is to "tee off" kicking a size 5 soccer ball and to traverse a golf hole with successive kicks. The objec- tive is to find a 52-centimeter cup in as few shots (kicks) as possible. Bunkers and water hazards are in play, just as in traditional golf. The benefit of having Disc Golf and FootGolf at Rancho Del Sol is clear: "It brings new activities to the local community," says Operations Manager Clint McCrory. "It's a fun way to allow people to get outside to play with friends and family." Additional advantages to Disc Golf and FootGolf are that they take less time than traditional golf and are less expensive, too, with rates of $10 during the week and $15 on the week- end for Disc Golf. Happy feet, happy wallet!
