Gross and net titles up for grabs in
the Palm Springs Golf Championships
O
ne week before the PGA Tour takes center in
the Coachella Valley, another big-time golf
event will be played on two iconic PGA WEST
layouts with the return of the Palm Springs Golf
Championships January 9-12.
Featuring three days of competition, the fourth-annual
tournament includes gross and net divisions with
multiple flights for men and women.
Participants in the gross division will get a taste of pro-like
conditions while playing two rounds on the Nicklaus
Tournament Course and one round on the Pete Dye
Stadium Course one week before some of the PGA
Tour's biggest stars in the game come to town for the
The American Express.
Competitors in the net division will battle it out for 54
holes on the Pete Dye Dunes Course, the Pete Dye
Mountain Course, and Classic Club in Palm Desert.
Entry fee for the tournament starts at $775 per player
and includes golf and a host of other benefits. Stay-and-
play packages are also available as are practice rounds.
