With our courses reopening and The American Express on the horizon, the season arrives at PGA WEST ® T here are two telltale signs the golf season has arrived in the Coachella Valley – when the nine courses at PGA WEST reopen after overseeding and tickets go on sale for The American Express. In November, those two things will have occurred – and the season will be in full swing at The Western Home of Golf in America. All five of the PGA WEST resort courses are now back online after fall maintenance, and as we highlight in this edition, the Greg Norman Course is in top-notch condition following a summer restoration project that has dramatically improved the greens. As for the four private clubs at PGA WEST, three are already open for members to play, and work will wrap up at the Weiskopf Private Course by November 21 to complete the annual undertaking. It won't be long after that until some of the game's top PGA Tour stars return to PGA WEST for The American Express, an historic event full of memorable moments that are highlighted in this edition of Inside the Ropes.
