gOlf shOp The golf shop carries all the latest styles. S OnE-sTOp shOp Golfers can find all they need at Classic Club hirts, shoes, service – and more. That's what guests can expect in the Classic Club golf shop. Actually, the spacious retail area carries everything a golfer would need for a day on the course. And when it comes to the latest and greatest in apparel and equipment, the shop has that covered. "We like to introduce new brands every year to keep things fresh," says Merchandising Manager Dru Blair. Here's a look at what's hot this season: cAllAwAy gOlf The X Hot Driver ($299) from Callaway Golf is doing well on Tour – and in pro shops. Classic Club guests xxx are invited to test the xxx driver on the course. Feedback xx has been positive from both staff and players, who have been snapping up the driver since its release earlier this year. TrAvIs MAThEw Classic Club likes to keep in step with what the pros are wearing. So you can expect plenty of apparel from Travis Mathew. The most popular items are the polos ($60-$85) available in solids, color blocks and assorted patterns. This season purple and gray are the colors of choice. BOOK A TEE TIME OAKlEy Known primarily for its sunglasses, Oakley is making a name in the golf apparel industry with its new Cipher spikeless golf shoe ($130) available in six colors. The mesh shoe has a more sporty, street style – and golfers are loving it. "It's a great summer shoe; it almost feels like you're just wearing a sock," says Blair, who owns three pair.
