hoosing a set of clubs that is
going to last an aspiring
junior golfer can be chal-
lenging. If there's one
thing that nearly every pre-teen
golfer has in common it's that
they're going to grow out of their
golf clubs.
That's why the PING
Prodi G set designed for
kids ages 7 to 13 is a ter-
rific idea.
Although any of the 11
clubs can be purchased indi-
vidually, if at least five are
bought in a single transaction,
junior golfers will receive a free cus-
tom re-fitting if they experience a
growth spurt and outgrow the clubs.
"This is a great deal because the set
includes a one-time free shaft upgrade;
it's really two sets in one," said John

The complete custom-engineered set
(pictured) includes a 460cc tita-
nium driver based on PING's
G series, a 22-degree fair-
way wood, a 27-degree hy-
brid, five perimeter-
weighted cavity-back
irons, two wedges styled
after the Glide 2.0, and a
Voss-style blade putter.
The Prodi G clubs share
much of the same technolo-
gies found in the bags of
PING Tour staff and each
club in the set undergoes the same pre-
cision process as the adult clubs to
help ensure the same quality, perform-
ance and reliability.
The clubs are for kids between 4'5"
and 5'2" and the one-time, no-charge
refitting includes re-shafting, lengthen-
ing, re-weighting and re-gripping.
