Classic Club's bunker renovation has made a big difference
I
t's been an exciting time at Classic Club since we re-opened the
golf course on September 1 after an extensive bunker renovation
over the summer. And, I have to say, we couldn't be happier with
the results. The golf course looks fantastic and playing conditions
have been significantly improved, while the emerald fair-
ways set against the new white sand certainly adds to
the property's aesthetic appeal.
But the past six weeks have served as just a sneak
peek to what golfers can expect during the coming
months in the Coachella Valley as the course will
soon close for overseeding until it re-opens again on
November 15. We're extremely excited to have golfers
come back prior to the holidays to experience the remark-
able work that has been done to the course – as well as the PGA
Tour-quality conditions we've been known for since the course opened.
And while the golf course may be closed for a while, there is still
plenty happening at Bellatrix Restaurant. In this issue, we announce a
series of Wine Maker Dinners that will offer five-course meals paired
with varietals from a handful of top-notch vineyards. Mark your calen-
dars because you won't want to miss these events. You can also come
out to Bellatrix for Monday Night Football, where we offer a number of
great specials, or to enjoy Prime Rib Night on Wednesday evenings.
Finally, in this issue, you'll find some great gear for fall in the golf
shop, tips on how to get back into the game after a layoff, and you'll get
to meet our Employees of the Quarter. See you around the club!
