T here is one thing nearly every golfer under the age of 13 has in common: they are going to grow in height and body mass, and they're going to grow out of their golf clubs. That's why the Ping Prodi G club set is a terrific idea. Although the 11 clubs can be purchased individually, if at least five are bought in a single transaction, the buyer gets a free custom refitting if the junior experiences a growth spurt and finds they've outgrown them. Con- sidering the clubs are designed for kids ages 7 to 13, that is a distinct possibility. And juniors will want to keep these clubs, as they are made from the same materials and with the same low-scoring technology as Ping's adult clubs, including the 15-degree tita- nium driver based on Ping's G driver series. The set also includes a 22-degree fairway wood, 27-degree hybrid, two specialty wedges, a cavity-backed 6-iron through pitching wedge set, and a Voss-style blade putter. The clubs are for kids between 4'5" and 5'2" and the one-time, no-charge refitting in- cludes re-shafting, lengthening, re-weight- ing and re-gripping. SHOP HERE.
