BRIGHT IDEA
Twilight leagues get golfers together for fun & games
W
hen it comes to growing the game of golf, there may
be some light at the end of the tunnel.
That's one of the conclusions that can be drawn from the
2019 SCGA Twilight Golf Leagues, some of which are cur-
rently taking place every week during the waning hours of
the day at American Golf managed courses throughout
Southern California, such as Rancho San Joaquin, Mis-
sion Trails, Lakewood and Skylinks golf courses.
The leagues offer a great way to get out and play
a fun and competitive nine holes of golf against
other teams, where everybody plays their own ball
and the top scores contribute to the team total.
Results and standings are posted on the SCGA
website, and at the end of the season the teams that win
their respective leagues will square off in the 2019 SCGA
Twilight League Championship on August 25 at Goose
Creek Golf Club in Mira Loma.

Golf Leagues – and if you missed out this time around, then
be sure to tune in again next summer!
In the meantime, if you're looking to play a fun round of
golf at a private club, check out the story in this edition on
the special outings where our members of The Players Club
receive reduced pricing.
We hope you enjoy your summer and find plenty of op-
portunities to get out on the course and play.
