OPPORTUNITIES ABOUND TO START JUNIORS IN THE GAME
N
ow that summer is here and school is out, it's a great
time to get your kids into the game of golf. It is a sport
they can play for a lifetime and there are so many won-
derful opportunities available to get kids involved,
from local summer camps and clinics to compet-
itive tournaments.
One of the organizations making a difference
with junior golfers is Youth on Course, which
we highlight in this edition of the Insider. The
organization helps subsidize rounds of golf with
participating courses so juniors can play for $5 – or
less. Check it out and see if your kids want to give it a try.
And if they need equipment, we highlight a new set of clubs in
this issue called the PING Prodi G, which are designed for juniors
ages 7-13 and offer a unique way of purchasing sticks so kids
won't outgrow them as fast.
