INSIDE CLASSIC CLUB
MAJOR MOMENT
The Warburton once again raises funds and hope for kids
T
he Masters may be just around the corner, but at Classic Club we
just wrapped up our big "major" of the golf season and it was
another astounding success.
The Warburton and all the festivities surrounding the golf and music
festival took place at Classic Club and throughout the
Coachella Valley earlier this month and, once again, the
event raised more than $2 million for the St. Jude
Children's Research Hospital.
That brings the total to more than $12 million that
the tournament has raised since 2011, a tribute to the
H.N. & Frances C. Berger Foundation, which owns
Classic Club and which would not be possible without
them. You'll find complete details from the 2019 event
and the activities that took place in this edition of the Insider.
In addition, you can read about an exciting new project coming up at
Classic Club. This summer we will shut down the golf course beginning
in July as we remove and refurbish bunkers throughout the property.
The project will ensure the best possible playing conditions at Classic
Club and will also add to the aesthetics of our beautiful layout.
Finally, if you're looking to get behind a cause and would like to par-
ticipate in a charity golf event, take a look at some of the tournaments
that are coming up here and lend your support.
I hope you enjoy this edition of the Insider and savor your rounds of
golf this spring.
