At Classic Club, the staff plays a vital role in our success
O
ther than a beautiful golf course and top-notch restaurant, one
of the things that makes Classic Club a special place to visit is
our staff. We pride ourselves on providing excellent service to
our guests, and strive to make their experiences memorable.
With that in mind, every quarter we choose three staff mem-
bers to honor as our Employees of the Quarter. But at the
close of each December, we select our Employee of the
Year from the pool of quarterly winners.
This year, I'm happy to announce that our Em-
ployee of the Year for 2018 is Administrative Assistant
Cynthia Gill. An employee at Classic Club for nearly a
decade, Cynthia is often one of the first faces our guests
see when they arrive at the club. Cynthia was among
three finalists that also included Oscar Vega from our Main-
tenance Department and Shawn Diaz from Food and Beverage.
Congratulations to all of our staff members who were honored and
who work so hard to please our guests.
Looking ahead to 2019, we are ready to ring in the new year at Clas-
sic Club with a full slate of charity outings on the calendar and another
exciting event – The Warburton – set to take place in late February and
early March. We set a record last year raising more than $2.5 million for
the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and we're ready for another
record-setting performance this year.
