WHAT'S INSIDE THE WGS INSIDER HE'S BACK! TIGER WOODS SHOWED US AGAIN WHY HE'S THE GREATEST I n my heart of hearts, I always knew Tiger Woods would win again. It was only a matter time. And sure enough, the greatest player of his generation – some would argue of all time – put an exclamation point on the 2017-18 PGA Tour season with his long-awaited, drought-ending victory at the Tour Championship, where he also came this close to winning the FedEx Cup. It was vintage Tiger putting on a Sunday clinic in late September – there was something about the way he strode the fairways and played to the center of every green that let the field and the entire golfing world know he was not giving up his fourth-round lead. After his final putt dropped and the gallery of thousands erupted in a frenzy, order had been restored to the golf universe after five winless years. Tiger Woods once again showed us that he doesn't just move the needle like no one in the game, he is the needle. Although it may have been his 80th PGA Tour victory, in some ways it felt like win No. 1 as the sports icon gets ready to take on a new generation of superstars. Earlier in the year, the PGA Tour unveiled a new, wildly scram- bled 2018-19 schedule that promises to shake things up throughout the season, which began in Northern California on October 4. I, for one, can't wait to see what the upcoming season brings. ENTER TO WIN! A re you up for a challenge? From now until October 28, you can put your gamer woods up against the new Titleist TS metals for a chance to win a trip to the Titleist Per- formance Institute in Oceanside, California. >> CLICK HERE for complete contest details!
