TIME FOR
CHANGE
n WHAT TO WATCH FOR IN THE
PGA TOUR'S WILDLY SCRAMBLED
UPCOMING 2018-'19 SCHEDULE

C
onfronted with a never-end-
ing parade of can't-please-
everybody, no-win scheduling
issues on the PGA Tour, Com-
missioner Jay Monahan rolled up his
sleeves, cleared his throat and banged out
a new plan. Some of the decisions the Tour
had to make were no-brainers, others
were excruciatingly tough. Blending the
interests of the PGA of America, the Euro-
pean Tour, the R&A, the USGA and the
Olympics wasn't easy, but mission accom-
plished. The result is a slightly shorter sea-
son that ends in August and a new order
for golf's four major championships.
Here's how the shakeup shakes out…
TPC Sawgrass and The Players
Championship reunite in March.
