NO. 7, COYOTE HILLS GC, FULLERTON O n a clear, smog-free day in Fullerton, they say you can see the Los Angeles skyline from the el- evated teebox on this breathtaking, 403-yard par-4. You feel like the king of the world stand- ing on top of the hill, about 150 feet above the fairway. The hole is so dramatically downhill that the grass-filled barranca 280 yards away is dangerously reachable – especially if you play from the next two teeboxes (381 and 361 yards). From wherever you launch your tee shot, the hang time is what makes it so much fun. And on the long, winding cart ride down the hill, you have time to eat a snack or call you friends to brag about the monstrous drive you just hammered.
