More than 20 courses in Southern California are participating, each with their own weekly fees (rang- ing from $10-$30 depending on the course) and their own specific days of the week for play. All tee times start at 3 p.m., giving you enough time to enjoy nine holes in the late afternoon before head- ing to the café for dinner between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. The $35 all-in- clusive fee includes green fee, cart fee, three-course dinner and a glass of wine or refreshing cold beer. The Players Club members can participate for $30, and the dinner-only pricing is $20. Learn more. thursdaY-fridaY, JuLY 20-21 2017 Los angeles County women's Championship Lakewood Country Club, Long beach This year marks the 25th annual Los Angeles County Women's Championship, which is open to all female amateur golfers with an established handicap. Tournament applications will be accepted until the event is full at 144 players. The entry fee of $120 includes two rounds of golf, shared cart on Friday, range balls, luncheon and a generous prize fund. This is a stroke- play event with only low gross play in the Champi- onship Flight. Learn more. saturday-sunday, august 26-27 2017 Los angeles County men's amateur Golf Championship Los verdes and Lakewood golf courses, rancho palos verdes and Long beach Los Angeles County is hosting a two-day amateur championship at Los Verdes and Lakewood golf courses. The field is limited to the first 160 entries received. The tour- nament is a 36-hole stroke-play event with gross and net prizes. Entry fee of $150 includes green fees, prize fund and range balls. Learn more. AT A COURSE NEAR YOU! GOLF SERIES INCLUDES SUDS T he Beer Tasting Golf Tournament Series is in full swing this summer. Upcoming events are slated for May 26 at rancho san Joaquin Golf Course, June 30 at whittier narrows Golf Course, July 28 at diamond bar Golf Course, Aug. 25 at Coyote hills Golf Course, Sep. 29 at san dimas Canyon Golf Course, and Oct. 27 at mountain meadows Golf Course. Each event includes nine holes of golf, range balls, featured beer tastings, contests, dinner, prizes and music. Cost is $43 per player, with a $3 discount for The Players Club members.
