The Players Club Amped provides access
to a host of courses at reduced rates
G
olfers who have been enjoying the many
benefits offered to members of The Players
Club at their local American Golf-managed
courses can now take advantage of a free new add-
on that will greatly expand their options for where
to tee it up.
The Players Club Amped was launched March 1,
and in addition to all the benefits associated with
The Players Club membership at individual
properties, it allows golfers to play at participating
American Golf-managed courses for steeply
reduced rates. The best part of the added benefit is
that it's free for all members throughout 2017.
"The primary difference is that when you 'amp'
your membership, you get access to the golf and
lesson benefits across all American Golf courses that
participate in the program," said Ryan Kimberling,
the Director of Revenue Management for American
Golf, who also oversees the tee time booking
website GolfZing. "Players have access to tee times
at all of our courses at any time of day, seven days a
