four-person scramble golf tourna-
ment, which will begin with a shot-
gun start at 8 a.m. The $74 per
player entry fee includes on-course
contests, prizes and a traditional
Irish meal with two drink tickets.

and with it comes American
Golf's Annual Beer Tasting Golf
Tournament Series that kicks off on
Friday, March 31 at Brookside Golf
Club in Pasadena. This series will
take place at eight courses across
Southern California this year from
March through October. Held on the
last Friday of the month, each course
will host an event that features a
different brewery and includes a
nine-hole tournament, dinner, prizes,
music and, of course, beer tastings.
"This year we'll be featuring Kona
Brewing, Golden Road Brewing, Four
Peaks Brewing, Elysian Brewing and
more," said American Golf Regional
Director of Sales Kimmy Senella.
"SoCal weather, Friday afternoons,
superb courses, good pals and craft
beers … what more can you ask for?"
For each event, registration begins
at 2:30 p.m., followed by warm-up
time on the range and featured beer
tastings. The nine-hole shotgun start
and contests will start at 3:30 p.m.,
and dinner with prizes, music and
more beer tastings will be held after
play at 6 p.m. The cost is $43 per
player, with a $3 discount for Players
Club members.
