WITH HARVEST COMPLETE,
IT'S TIME TO LOOK AHEAD
As Another successful hArvest seAson comes to a
close here at Wente vineyards, we couldn't be more thrilled
with the great year we've had. Ideal conditions in which to
grow the grapes throughout our vineyards and recent moder-
ate temperatures have meant an even ripening season – all
told, we'll have a top-notch vintage from this year.
But it's been an exciting season for more rea-
sons than just wine. on sept. 29 we finished
out another fantastic concert series, as Jack-
son Browne capped the year with his solo
acoustic show. the front Porch festival over
labor Day weekend brought thousands of
people to the property to enjoy live music from
regionally based bands, delicious food and, of
course, wine from Wente vineyards. We also had guests out to
experience our harvest tours & tastings, where they were
able to get a behind-the-scenes look at the harvesting process.
But just because the harvest season is about wrapped up on
our end doesn't mean things are slowing down at Wente vine-
yards anytime soon. We're already planning our festivities for
the holidays, so keep an eye on our online calendar and face-
book page for announcements of those upcoming events.
