Classic Club wins Rock Star award at Troon conference
T
roon Golf recently hosted its annual Leadership Confer-
ence in Chandler, Ariz., at The Sheraton Wild Horse Pass
Resort, continuing with a tradition that has been taking
place almost every year since the company was founded in 1990.
The Troon Leadership Conference was, as always, an
opportunity for corporate executives, managers,
agronomists and associates to gather and attend
world-class presentations on course manage-
ment, leadership, and club maintenance, and we
were thrilled to be a part of it.
The Troon Leadership Conference was also a
chance for the best of the best to be nationally
recognized through the annual awards ceremony.
Leaders both on an individual level and on a course
level were recognized for outstanding performance in 2014.
Classic Club received an envy-worthy Troon Rock Star
award, which was personally signed by rock legend Alice
Cooper. Troon Rock Star awards are given out for excellence in
categories such as member and guest satisfaction, leadership,
and overall performance. Classic Club won its Rock Star award
for "Owner Satisfaction."
I take a lot of pride in this, because I know it's an immediate
reflection on how hard everyone works year-round here at
Classic Club. Way to go, rock stars!
