serene surroundings, Napa Valley

vineyard views, Chardonnay Golf Club has
so much more. In addition to its golf
course that's ideal for pre-wedding
activities, the property features
ponds, a mature oak tree and an
expansive bridge.
Ceremonies are held under the
grand oak followed by a reception
in the clubhouse for up to 170 guests.
Events in the Moonlight Grove garden in-
clude a reception for up to 450 in a tent
dressed up with elegant chandeliers.

Chef Adolfo Garcia, who taught at the

9 Book Hotel Early. Chardonnay has a
preferred list of local hotels of varying
price points that offer discounts to their
clients. If you want your guests to
stay nearby and you want to
arrange a block of rooms, early
planning is important.
9 Decide On A Budget. And then
let Chardonnay's staff help you stay
within it. From bringing your own wine
to choosing the right menu or holding your
event on a day other than Saturday, Men-
doza can help avoid financial surprises.
9 Shop Around. Florist, bakery, deejay,
photographer — each needs to be booked,
so where do you start? Mendoza has a pre-
ferred list. "These are vendors that have
worked here before, know the property,
have reasonable pricing and respect time-
lines that need to be followed, which is ex-
tremely important," Mendoza says.
