Since opening to the pubic,
the semi-private club offers a
variety of options and payment
plans that make membership
more affordable than ever.
One of the biggest reasons is
that Chardonnay has done
away with traditional member-
ship programs — such as indi-
vidual, family and corporate —
and replaced them with single,
double and multi memberships.
This allows golfers to join the
club individually, with a spouse
or friend, or with a group
of golfing buddies.
"We let you pair up,
which makes it less ex-
pensive for all parties,"
says General Manager
Roger Billings. "Lots of guys
have a regular foursome or
group that plays together and
this allows them to join
Chardonnay together and re-

ship packages now available:
The Chardonnay is the most
complete membership, with un-
limited golf and car 365 days a
year. That's in addition to the
use of a locker and members-
only practice tee, 30-day ad-
vance tee times, discount
pricing for guests and more.
The Merlot package includes
unlimited golf on weekdays
and holidays in addition to
the Chardonnay benefits.
Chardonnay and Mer-
lot Lite options are avail-
able for members who
play at off-peak times.
The Petite Sirah offers dis-
counted green fees throughout
the year for a one-time fee,
along with a host of other bene-
fits and savings.
Perhaps Chardonnay's mem-
bership programs can best be
summed up by Patrick Lewis,
retired editor and former owner
of the Napa Valley Shopper:
